Origin
The swiss co-worker in the “Bauhaus“ G.J. Jucker designed the Bauhauslamp in glass adapted from the Bauhauslamp Wa24 designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld. Wilhelm Wagenfeld designed this lamp in1924 by order of Làszlò Moholy-Nagy who was chief of the metal workshop.
Today this lamp is likely one of the most famous and most favoured lamps of design history worldwide. It suits perfectely on desks, receptions, in living rooms or simply on the nightstand.
Description
Chaste but elegant table lamp with opal glass lamp shade and body made of glass. On/Off switch with a chain hoist.
Quality
All metal parts are high class chromed.
The opal glass lamp shade is fixed on a metal ring with three small screws. So it can be easily removed for changing the bulb.
The electric cable rund through the inside of the glass body.
As all our furniture this lamp is handmade by selected Italian manufacturers.
