back to sofas   Origin Like the famous settees of the LC2 series the settees of the LC3 series were not designed by Le Corbusier himself. They were designed in the style of the LC3 Armchair in the studio Le Corbusier. Le Corbusier refused the authorisation of the LC3 series settees for the same reason why he refused authorisation of the LC2 series settees. He thought them to be too middle-class. Anyhow the settees of the LC2 and LC3 series are inherent parts in modern home decor. They decorate waiting rooms from doctors or lawyers same as foyers in Hotels, privat rooms, tv-shows and film sceneries.   Description Sofa with chromed steel tube frame and leather covered cushions.   Quality The frame is bent from one continous pipe and doesn't show ugly welded joints. The chroming is 28 micron. The cushions are covered with high quality calfskin and filled with polyurethane foam and dacron wool. Leather thickness approximately 2mm.
