Origin
The prototype of the this chair was designed in 1955 by Charles and Ray Eames. It was planed as a birthday present for their friend Billy Wilder’s 50th birthday.
Today the Lounge Chair (with or without the fitting stool) is likely one of the most famous Armchairs worldwide. Most possible seating comfort in combination with excellent design are the armchair’s attributes.
This is the very best for use as TV chair, for reading or simply to relax.
Description
Armchair with high backrest, aluminium cast 5-star base with svivel feature, no castors.
Quality
Seat and back made of moulded plywood with rosewood veneer. Cushioned with polyurethane foam and dacron wool, covered with calfskin. Leather thickness approximately 2mm.
As all our furniture this armchair is handmade by selected Italian manufacturers.
